3/10/24 Board Update on Social Media

Good Morning Neighbors,

The board of directors have made the decision to create a new official HOA group on Facebook.

Legend of Hutto HOA (Official) - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1144626330046289/

Important: When joining, you will be prompted to provide your full address. This will allow admins to ensure all members joining are homeowners in LOH.

This page will be one of many sources for information relating to Legends of Hutto. It will be utilized for reminders, invitations for HOA events, and collaboration with neighbors. The behavior exhibited in the prior Facebook group by a select few of our residents will not be tolerated.

If you are not involved with social media, important announcements and information will continue to be communicated on our website (www.legendsofhuttohoa.com), via email blasts such as this one, and the new Pioneer Beck Portal (More information coming on this soon).

This decision was made after a disgruntled resident refused to relinquish control of the prior Facebook page to the current board. Current board members who were admins of the group were removed last night by this resident.

The board of directors sincerely appreciates your support and we look forward to better days ahead.

Thank you,

Your Legends of Hutto Board of Directors

Legends of Hutto Homeowners,

Welcome Letter

We are pleased to announce that Welcome Letters from our new management company Pioneer Beck will be sent out to all homeowners in the next 48 hours. The letter will be sent via email to anyone who has their email on file with the association as well as via US mail.

Billing for March/April

Billing statements will be sent out in the next week or two using the same cadence. The billing statement will show a $40 assessment. This will be for your March and April dues. Please note that the statement will NOT display any account balance or credit you may have. Due to delays in receiving this information, it has not been fully entered into the system. Future statements will reflect your account balance or credit.

Spring Event

Please mark your calendars and save the date for our Spring Event on Saturday March 23rd 2024 from 10am - 1pm.

The board appreciates your patience through the transition of management companies. Significant delays in receiving the information needed to ensure a timely transition occurred.

The board as well as Pioneer Beck has worked as hard as possible to ensure that the transition is as quick and painless as possible for the homeowners.

Board Update on transition to new HOA management company.

The HOA board has tried hard to complete the transition to Pioneer Beck, our new management company, by March 1st. Several challenges have prevented us from hitting that milestone. While the board appreciates prompt responses and proactive engagement, we cannot mandate that. In addition, the board has had to address several unique requests and issues that were unexpected and unprecedented.

We will officially transition to Pioneer Beck on April 1st. We are sure you have some questions, and we have answered some of them below. If you have other questions, please reach out to your board at [email protected]

  1. Is Pinnacle staying on for another month?
    1. Short answer: No. Pinnacle has indicated they would be willing to stay on for another month. Each month of Pinnacle service costs the HOA about $ 6,500. The board does not believe it is in the HOA’s best interest to pay for another month of service from Pinnacle.
  2. Who will be our HOA manager in March?
    1. The board will be managing the association with assistance from Pioneer Beck until the transition is complete.
  3. What about dues?
    1. The board has already posted on our website about stopping your auto payments. March dues will be deferred until April. If you pay your dues monthly, you will pay March and April in your April payment. No late fee or penalty will be assessed for March. Payment plans will also be deferred to April.
  4. What about ACC requests?
    1. Residents will make their ACC requests as usual. Residents will submit the request on the website or by emailing the form to [email protected], just as they do now. ACC requests will be routed directly to the three-member ACC committee. The ACC committee will respond to confirm the request was received. Review of the request will be delayed slightly until the transition is complete. In April, Pioneer Beck will roll out an entirely new ACC process.
  5. What if I have a question that I would typically call Pinnacle for?
    1. Please send all such questions to [email protected]. The board will do our best to assist you.
  6. What if I am selling my property and need a resale certificate?
    1. Please send all such requests to [email protected].

We will get through this transition together.

We know this is not ideal, and your board wishes that more of the transition had been completed in February. We are confident that our community will rise to the challenge and get through this unique month just fine. Because that is who we are—neighbors who help each other.

If you have something to do in March that will bring you into contact with the HOA or management company, please consider putting it off for a month if you can. If it is critical or urgent, your board is here to give you the help, response, and information you need!

The encouragement this new board has already received is appreciated. Our community is fantastic, and we thank everyone who has wished us well and encouraged us!

Thank you for being so patient in this transition.

Chris, Jessie, Will, Abel, Lance
